Coach Development

NSFLL is looking for coaches for the 2008 season.  Please email nsfieldlax@gmail.com if you are interested in attending a Field Lacrosse Coaching Clinic, currently scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 20th (9:00-4:00) and 21st (11:00-2:00), at Sport Nova Scotia.  


Minimum Training Requirements – Field Lacrosse

·         All minor field
·         All high school field

New Coaches

·         Year 1 (2006) – Attend Community Development clinic – “In training”

·         Year 2 (2007) – Workbooks successfully completed and submitted at least 10 days prior to start of season – “Trained”

Coaches (previous training)

·         Year 1 (2005) – Attended Community Development clinic – “In Training”

·         Year 2 (2006) – Workbooks must be successfully completed and submitted by August 30th – “Trained”

If your workbook has been misplaced, one can be downloaded from the Canadian Lacrosse Association’s website.
